Just got back from a great week at UEA in Norwich. BCLT organised some great panel discussions and presentations, and brought together some 50 fellow translators. Most of the time was spent with five other Norwegian translators as we worked alongside author Kjersti Annesdatter Skomsvold and translator Kari Dickson. A week spent poring over a chapter of Kjersti’s upcoming novel produced a translation entitled, The Old People’s Home.
