First edition of Danish Review launched today! It’s hoped that this online journal will be a valuable resource to Danish teachers and students across the world. It contains some great articles and reviews, but my favourite feature has to be the page flipping sound effect. Danish Review was the brainchild of Jesper Hansen, UCL teaching fellow in Danish, and it inspired me to write about my experiences in translating Benny Andersen’s play, The Contract Killer. Thanks to everyone involved for their hard work in putting this publication together, motivated only by their passion for Danish culture.
